Polishing

Polishing is a finishing process aimed at enhancing the appearance and surface properties of metal parts. This process involves reducing the surface roughness, removing scratches and marks to create a smooth and shiny finish. Polishing can be achieved using various techniques, including mechanical polishing, electrolytic polishing, and chemical polishing. At Amiaud, we use advanced polishing equipment to handle a variety of metals, including stainless steel, aluminum, and steel.

Our Polishing
Capabilities

We have a comprehensive range of machines for mechanical polishing, tailored to various surface preparation and finishing needs. For mechanical preparation, we use abrasive belts with grit ranging from 40 to 3000, allowing for a wide range of preparations based on the desired surface roughness.

For mechanical finishing, we employ various materials such as cotton, flannel, parachute cloth, and felt with abrasive paste, achieving high-quality polished surfaces. Our automatic finishes use sisal, cotton, and parachute cloth, ensuring consistent and high-precision results.

Finally, to ensure impeccable cleanliness of parts after polishing, we use an ultrasonic cleaning system, effectively removing residues and impurities. With this diverse equipment, we are equipped to meet all your mechanical polishing requirements, delivering high-quality results for each project.
