As the holiday season approaches, AMIAUD informs its customers, partners and suppliers about its operations during the Christmas 2026 holidays. This annual closure affects our entire company, including our industrial metalworking workshop located in Vendée, as well as our various departments.

Specializing in metal processing and the manufacturing of metal parts in small and medium production runs, our company supports professionals with their industrial projects throughout the year.

To ensure smooth production and supply operations, it is important to anticipate orders and manufacturing requirements before this temporary closure.

Whether your projects involve stainless steel, steel or aluminum parts, laser cutting, sheet metal bending, welding and fabrication, or passivation, proper planning helps minimize disruptions to your production schedules.

In this article, discover AMIAUD’s Christmas closure dates, the deadlines for final shipments, and our tips for efficiently planning your industrial projects ahead of the reopening in January 2027.

Last Order Dispatch: Plan Your Shipments Ahead

To ensure that the final deliveries of the year are organized as smoothly as possible, AMIAUD has set a deadline for order shipments before its workshops close for the holidays.

Last Order Dispatch Before Christmas:

December 24, 2026, at 10:00 AM

We encourage our customers to place their orders in advance.

Why Should You Plan Your Industrial Orders Ahead?

In industrial sheet metal fabrication, production lead times depend on several factors: the type of materials, part complexity, quantities required, manufacturing processes, and finishing operations.

An order for metal parts may involve several successive stages before shipment, including technical preparation, cutting, bending, welding, surface treatment, and quality control.

As the holiday season approaches, these operations must be scheduled into our workshop’s production plan to determine whether manufacturing and delivery can be completed before the closure.

We therefore recommend communicating your requirements to our teams as early as possible, particularly if your projects involve multiple metal processing operations.

What Happens to Orders During the Closure?

Orders received during the closure will be processed when our operations resume, according to our production schedules.

Do you have an urgent order or need a delivery before Christmas? Contact our team before the shipping deadline to plan ahead.

How to Plan Your Metalworking Projects Ahead?

The end of the year is the ideal time to plan ahead for your metal parts manufacturing projects and raw material requirements.

With its extensive expertise in metal processing, AMIAUD helps you prepare your projects before the annual closure. Planning ahead allows for better coordination of the different production stages and ensures a smooth resumption of operations.

Plan Ahead for the Different Stages of Parts Manufacturing

Custom metal parts manufacturing involves several technical processes that should be planned ahead of the annual closure. Our metalworking workshop specializes in laser cutting, industrial sheet metal bending, welding and fabrication, and the assembly of stainless steel, steel, and aluminum parts.

Depending on the requirements, some projects also involve specific finishing processes, such as industrial polishing, stainless steel pickling, or stainless steel passivation, to achieve a surface finish suited to their intended application.

To facilitate project planning, we recommend submitting your technical drawings, required quantities, and delivery deadlines in advance. This information allows our teams to coordinate the various stages of metal processing and prepare for the resumption of production in January.

An Industrial Organization Designed to Prepare for the Resumption of Operations

AMIAUD’s annual closure marks a temporary pause in production, but it also represents an important milestone in the organization of our industrial operations.

Before the holidays, our teams prepare ongoing project documentation, review supply requirements, and organize manufacturing priorities for the first weeks of January.

This preparation helps ensure a smooth and well-organized resumption of operations, in line with the requirements of our professional customers.

Plan Ahead for Raw Material Supplies

Industrial metal parts manufacturing requires effective raw material management. Our workshop works with stainless steel, steel, and aluminum to produce individual parts or series.

Planning ahead for your material requirements, quantities, and technical specifications helps streamline procurement and prepare for an efficient resumption of production in January.

Prepare Technical Documentation with Our Engineering Department

Our industrial engineering department is involved in the technical preparation of projects before they enter production.

It helps analyze technical drawings, verify design constraints, and prepare the data required for manufacturing operations in our workshops.

Submitting a complete technical file before the holidays facilitates its review and helps identify any technical details that may need clarification.

The aim is to prepare the next stages of the project without having to wait until our reopening to gather essential information.

This approach is particularly useful for projects involving multiple industrial manufacturing processes.
